Deana Rosenthal
President & Founder
Deana@NextGenerationFoundation.com

Deana Rosenthal started her cancer crusade in October of 2005 where she took on her 1st Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. What started out to be a personal challenge, ended up being a life-long journey. After a week of registering for the walk, Deana's aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Deana learned how prevalent this disease was and how it affected so many. After completing the walk, she realized that this was a window of opportunity to get other women in her life involved in this fight for a cure. The Next Generation Team was formed in 2006 and after raising more than $100,000 in two short years, Deana sought after a new adventure. With the help of her dear friends, Gabrielle Wile and Taralynn Van Brunt, most of 2007 was spent incorporating this foundation.

Along the way, Deana lost a very close friend to an aggressive battle with Mesothelioma. It is not only Breast Cancer that can take a loved one away, so the mission to raise awareness about early detection and to help fund clinical research for all cancers is vital. Deana believes whole heartedly there is an opportunity to really save lives and provide hope for all family members and loved ones who have had to face the drastic impact that cancer has had on their lives.

Deana, has had a developing career at Chartis Insurance supporting a Global Executive for one of the top leading insurance companies in the world. Her job requires extensive social networking, impeccable organization and communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while keeping a composed demeanor through stressful deadlines. All of the skills aforementioned are truly a valuable asset in successfully leading this foundation to accomplish all of its goals for the future.

In 2011 Deana will take on her most crucial role yet ... Motherhood. "I realize now more than ever that my efforts today may very well contribute towards a cancer-free future for my son." Deana Rosenthal

The mission of The Next Generation Foundation is to get young men and women involved with cancer awareness. Cancer gives no allowance when it comes to age, race or gender. Therefore, we all need to do what we can to help eradicate this disease.

It is our generation that needs to set the example for young men and women to follow. There is so much that each of us can do, but not everyone knows where to start. Learn more

The truth is that so many of us wait til someone we know and love is diagnosed or lost to the terrible disease called Cancer. Together, you can help us to change this!

We shouldn't be waiting for a loved one to become part of a statistic, but rather coming together with our loved ones to try to change these statistics so that we are hearing more and more survival stories that fuel the inspiration Learn more
